The Mt. Hood summit is the highest point in Oregon. From it, climbers can enjoy views of other Cascade peaks, including Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. The east edge of the summit is an enormous snow cornice with a vertical fall of more than 1,000 feet.
